Application Process

Kindly read the information below before submitting your application. Lists of mandatory attachments can be found at the bottom of the page.

Academic staff and students enrolled at Hanken can apply for specific-purpose funding. Applicants do not need to specify a particular fund from which they wish to apply for support, but they must specify a particular purpose. When a grant is approved, it will be in accordance with the regulations controlling the various funds.

The administration procedure for the departments' applications to differs from principle described above; in these applications the fund should therefore be specified. Applications to the Commerce and Industry Fund to invite teachers and researchers to lecture at Hanken can be made throughout the year, notwithstanding the intended length of the stay. More information on how to apply can be found here.

Application

Applications to the Funds at Hanken are made through the Support Foundations online application system (link to the system can be found at the bottom of the page). Those who have a Hanken-user-id can use it to sign into the system. Alumni need to register in the system and create a user-id, specific for the system. When you are signed into the system you choose the most appropriate purpose according to the group you represent and create a new application.

The application form consists of five different parts. All parts of the application should be filled out carefully and each form saved when filled out. When you are done filling out the form you can look at a preview of your application by choosing that function on the application page. When you are sure that your application is complete and correctly filled out you choose the function: "Approve and submit your application". When the application is submitted and received by the Funds at Hanken a message will be displayed on the screen (in the system). You can also print your application as well as send it to your email-address as a PDF-document.

Late applications will not be considered, neither incomplete nor paper applications. The grants are personal and cannot be applied for by someone else. More information about conditions can be found here.

Because the regulations of the funds vary considerably, applicants must submit all relevant information requested. The applicants must follow the instructions described and enclose all attachments requested.

Applicants must always provide information about other funding they have planned to apply for, applied for or received for the same purpose. Information about other funding granted must also be provided to the Scholarship Liaison Officer after the application has been submitted.

Information about the result

All applicants will receive information about the outcome to the e-mail they provided in the application. Information about granted scholarships are published on Hanken's website.
