The story of Creating a MOOC
Hanken launched its first world wide available course open for everybody, a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), based on Professor emeritus Christian Grönroos´ video lectures about "Principles of Service Management".
The course has now over 1000 students from 129 countries, with 20% from UK, 7 % from Finland and the rest from all over the world -hotel managers in Asia participating with farmers from Africa, master students and researchers.
Welcome to have a look at the course, learn what experiences we have, how we got here - the process of creating a Mooc - what we learned, what was good, and what not so good.
We have reserved time for the presentations and general discussion 14-15, but if you are interested to discuss more, we are available after the session to discuss in more detail about the course and the process.
