New MOOC on how to respond to global pandemics such as COVID-19

Hanken has launched a new MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) about how to respond to health emergencies such as COVID-19. On the course, you can learn about COVID-data and models, crisis governance during pandemics, medical supply chains, and how misinformation on social media can be combated.

The course Health Emergency Response to a Pandemic: An Integrated Social Science Perspective Opens in new window is four weeks long and is given on the FutureLearn platform. The course is openly available and free for everyone.

The course has been developed by Hanken’s internationally renowned HUMLOG Institute Opens in new window in collaboration with Delft University of Technology Opens in new window , Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Opens in new window , and The Open University Opens in new window . The course was developed in the EU-funded HERoS project Opens in new window .
