Course Description: 

Each One Teach One course means that two native speakers of different languages (English, Finnish, French, German, Russian, Spanish or Swedish) meet informally to learn each other's language. The responsible teacher provides the students with a work scheme that they follow during the course.

Learning Goal: 

You can communicate in Russian easier and have advanced knowledge about Russian culture and society.

After completing the course, you will be able to: 
  • discuss and take care of different everyday matters in Russian
  • describe cultural differences
Target Group: 

Only Hanken degree students and incoming exchange students.

53 hours divided into
Scheduled (contact) hours: 0 h
Non-scheduled Work: 53 h


Self-studies and 14 meetings with the course partner

Literature and Course Material: 

- teacher’s material
- the students’ own material (for instance vocabulary and phrase lists)

The students must contact the responsible teacher in the beginning of the course.

Grading: passed/failed

The course is recommended for students who are planning an exchange term abroad or who want to maintain their language skills after exchange term.
