When you get an internship, it pays to prepare carefully in order to get the full benefit from your experience in regard to your onward studies as well as to your future career.

The Department focuses on the two major subjects of Accounting and Commercial law. These subjects are integrated and linked together in order to offer the student a more holistic view of business, law and commercial practice. The Department's courses afford students the opportunity to study an exciting range of related topics. Research and teaching at the Department are  aimed towards giving students a good theoretical foundation, in addition to the acquisition of practical and relevant skills required in the marketplace.

Hanken har två parallella karriärstigar (tenure track), en forskningsbetonad och en undervisningsbetonad karriärstig. Behörighetskraven fastställs i Hankens Personalinstruktion. Rektor har också fastställt riktlinjer för rekrytering och avancemang inom nuvarande tenure track system.
