Hanken has received an additional donation of 250 000 from Stiftelsen Tre Smeder to the ongoing fundraising campaign HANKEN RETURNS. This is the second donation to the campaign, making their total amount of contributions 1 000 000 euro.

”With this donation, Stiftelsen Tre Smeder wants to assist in creating the prerequisites for Hanken to maintain the university’s high quality in teaching and research in the long term”, says Stiftelsen Tre Smeder’s ombudsman Patrik Lerche.

”Donations from the foundation enable us to invest in education and research, and strengthens our capability of increasing the quality of our activities. We are truly thankful for this additional donation and for the fact that the foundation, once again, has shown trust in Hanken”, says Rector Karen Spens.

The fundraising campaign HANKEN RETURNS will continue until 30.6.2017 and has, with this donation included, so far raised approximately 8,1 million euro. The aim of the campaign is to secure Hanken’s unique position as Finland’s only independent business school.
