Hanken's fundraising campaign reaches 5 million euro

The foundation Bergsrådet Tekn. och Ekon. Dr. h.c. Marcus Wallenbergs Stiftelse för Företagsekonomisk Forskning donates 100.000€ to Hanken.

This is the foundation's third donation to the campaign, which means that the foundation has donated a total of 600.000€ to Hanken. The aim of the foundation is to promote education and research within the field of business management, mainly in Finland but also internationally.

"We are incredibly honored that Marcus Wallenberg Foundation once again has shown confidence in Hanken. It means a lot for the future, "says Rector Karen Spens.

“It is also a really good result to have reached five million with one year left of the campaign”, Spens continues.

The fundraising campaign HANKEN RETURNS will continue until 30.6.2017 and has, with this donation included, so far raised just over 5 million euro. The state will match all the raised money with up to three euro for every euro donated to Hanken. The aim of the campaign is to secure Hanken’s unique position as Finland’s only independent business school.
