The Department focuses on the two major subjects of Accounting and Commercial law. These subjects are integrated and linked together in order to offer the student a more holistic view of business, law and commercial practice. The Department's courses afford students the opportunity to study an exciting range of related topics. Research and teaching at the Department are  aimed towards giving students a good theoretical foundation, in addition to the acquisition of practical and relevant skills required in the marketplace.

Vid Hanken utför vi grundforskning, tillämpad forskning och kontraktsforskning. Vi arbetar i allt högre grad i tvärvetenskapliga projektgrupper med både nationella och internationella akademiska kollegor och har ett nära samarbete med näringslivet.
