NUAS Sustainability Webinar: Reducing carbon footprint from flights at universities
Universities collaborate internationally but it comes with a significant carbon footprint from flying. Some flying is unavoidable, but reduced flying is needed. Many Nordic universities have taken measures to address this challenging agenda and to continue practices from the Corona-years. Learn from Nordic universities with interesting approaches on managing and addressing this challenge.
First part will dive into hands-on solutions for managing the flights- and CO2-data and the second part will dive into some university wide approaches for embedding reduced flying in university management and fostering change in travel practises.
Target group
Nordic university administrative staff with a responsibility on sustainable mobility and/or reduction of university carbon footprint from flights.
