My research interests lie in socially responsible working lives, with a specific focus on a life course approach to HR, well-being, and leadership. My aim is to contribute to the emerging field of age-related topics within HRM and leadership, facilitating responsible working life careers for employees of all ages throughout their working life.
In pursuit of my PhD, my research will comprise literature reviews and qualitative interview studies on age-related topics in working life. For instance, I have conducted research on middle managers' perspectives on ageing workers and age-diverse work communities, with a view to identifying age-friendly or age-inclusive organisations. Additionally, I have explored nurses' motivations for leaving their occupation as part of my research on responsible working lives. Furthermore, I have conducted a systematic literature review on enabling factors for prolonged working lives and used bibliometric analysis to examine the history, evolution, and current trending discussions on research concerning research on age-related topics in working life.
My primary areas of research focus on supporting prolonged working lives, promoting socially responsible working practices, facilitating age-friendliness, age-diversity, and age-inclusivity in working life, ensuring workability, and employing a life course approach. My research also encompasses the psychological contract and psychological contract breach, and I utilize qualitative research and bibliometrics in my work.
I possess extensive executive-level work experience outside of academia, primarily in the areas of leadership, HR, and strategic development in social and health care, education, and food & catering industries.
Furthermore, during my doctoral studies, I have served as a teacher's assistant for master's courses in HRM and leadership at Hanken. Additionally, I have supervised bachelor thesis students at Hanken.
