Who are we?

Hanken Business Lab is a startup incubator that provides growth-oriented support services to its resident startups and entrepreneurs through mentoring, workshops, community-building activities, and access to resources in both Helsinki and Vaasa.

More about us

Hanken Business Lab can be found on floor -2 in Helsinki and at Stugan in Vaasa. These are co-working spaces, where our start-ups, community members (including Hanken students, staff, and alumni), and partners can meet and work, any time of day.

Hanken students are doing well and making good progress in their studies

In April 2026, a wellbeing survey was conducted among all degree students at Hanken School of Economics. The results show that most Hanken students are doing well and that their studies are progressing according to plan.

New European doctoral network will study AI in workplaces

Hanken School of Economics has received over EUR 600 000 funding for joining the EMANAIRE (Empowering Human Agency in AI-Augmented Futures of Work) network. The project will study how AI is changing work and organisations, and is funded by Horizon Europe.
