The Swedish Assembly of Finland rewarded Jannika Lassus

The Swedish Assembly of Finland annually awards medals to persons, who have promoted the Swedish speaking population and culture.

On a proposal from Hanken, this year Jannika Lassus at Hanken has been awarded this medal. She works at Hanken’s Centre for Languages and Business Communication. She has previously been working as a researcher for the Society for Swedish Literature in Finland. She has also been chairman for Språkalliansen and a member of the Hugo Bergroth-society.

The Swedish Assembly of Finland states that Lassus has been very active in both teaching, research and different societal tasks which aim at supporting the Swedish language in Finland.
