Hanken wins award for responsible management education reporting

PRME SIP Report
On 18 June 2020 Hanken was awarded for excellence in reporting for its PRME report 2016-18 among 500 competitors at the PRME Global Forum. Hanken has specially been recognised for its reporting on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Hanken has been a signatory to Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Opens in new window since April 2008 and has been reporting biannually since 2010 and has published 5 reports.

‘’Hanken has been a frontrunner in reporting and transparency when it comes to integrating responsible management education and SDGs. The fact that Hanken has won the award three times in the last ten years bears testimony to that’’, says Mette Morsing, Head of PRME Secretariat.

The report highlights the progress made by Hanken in the reporting period 2016-2018 on implementing PRME and SDGs at the institutional strategic level, across teaching, research, partnerships and organisational practices. It also sheds light on the challenges faced by the school and how it intends to overcome to achieve its key performance indicators.

‘’Hanken sets an example in both implementation and reporting for other schools to learn from. Due to its thought leadership activities Hanken is also part of the prestigious PRME Champions Group. Congratulations to Hanken for this achievement!’’, Mette Morsing states.

Hanken shares the award alongside Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and Deakin Business School in Australia.
