Panel discussions exploring how to better integrate refugees into to the Finnish labour market.

Welcome to the fifth Corporate Social Responsibility event organized by Hanken CSR students: Finnish Labour Market 2.0 - Integration through innovation

This year´s theme is the Finnish labour market and its capability to absorb the refugees that have arrived during the last few years. During year 2015 over 30 000 refugees applied for asylum in Finland and 2016 is predicted to have similar or higher figures. The new arrivals need to be integrated into our society and the easiest way would be to do it through employment. However, for various reasons this has proven difficult. This event´s purpose is to elaborate over the problems with refugee employment and the possible solutions.

We are proud to present our panelists:

Matti Sarvimäki (Aalto University, Department of Economics)
Sonja Hämäläinen (Ministry of Employment and the Economy)
Elie El-Khouri (Newco Helsinki)
Mikko Räsänen (Confederation of Finnish Industries)
Susanna Ilmoni (KSF Media)
Östen Wahlbeck (University of Helsinki)
Mustafa Salam Abdalmee
Maadh Alsammarraie (Zharity)
