Moodle server´s PHP updated

The login to Moodle is again normalised, as PHP was updated on the server (22.10.2026 at 13:00)

From Hanken Moodle point of view, communication with other servers should work.

Extra login to Moodle due to serious security issues

Serious security problems have been discovered in PHP, a language used in most IT-systems used at Hanken and around the world.

A fix of the problem will be published tonight at around 17:00, however, before the fix is put into all necessary systems, it might take a day or two to get the systems update.

As a security cover, we are now putting in an extra login to Moodle, today Wednesday afternoon.

The extra login means that you first login with shibboleth, and then still have to click the Moodle Login button to get access to Moodle. Systems outside of Hanken might not be able to communicate with Hanken´s Moodle.
