Hanken's deans re-elected for another academic year

Rector Karen Spens ends her assignment as rector at Hanken on 31.7.2022 when she becomes president of BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. This also ends the deans' term of office on 31.7.2022.

According to Hanken's Rules of Procedure for the Administration the School has to have at least two deans. Ingmar Björkman was 25 May 2022 appointed rector for the period 1.8.2022-31.7.2027. On 21 June 2022, the Board approved the future rector Björkman's proposal that the four current deans be re-appointed for another academic year.

Deans for the period 1.8.2022-31.7.2023 are

• Professor Maria Holmlund-Rytkönen, Dean of Programmes and Quality Assurance
• Professor David Grant, Dean of Research and Societal Impact
• Professor Kaj Storbacka, Dean of Executive Education and Corporate Relations
• Professor Sören Kock, Dean of Education and Rector's representative in Vaasa
