Guest lecture by Dr. Praveen Malla, Managing Director of LemonBridge Research and Innovations

The global economy today is dotted with start-ups. East or West, start-ups have come to characterize a new wave of economic revolution. Ideas - both mundane and novel - are finding ways to establish themselves commercially. Venture capitalists and PE players are playing a catalytic role in the commercialization process. Which start-ups will survive? Who benefits from the start-up ecosystem -entrepreneurs, investors, employees or customers? What kinds of metrics are used to measure a start-up’s success before profits materialize? What kinds of entrepreneurs are entering the start-up ecosystem? What kind of training do they have to run businesses? Or are we walking ourselves into the trap of a bubble economy?

Dr. Praveen Malla is the Managing Director of LemonBridge Research and Innovations, a thought leadership advisory based out of India. He has over 18 years of professional experience. He has always worked at the intersection of functions and industries and therefore has a global view of how things work.
