Experiences from Harvard: Sustainability and Academic Freedom under the Trump Administration
Join us for a morning session with Associate Professor Hanna Silvola during which she will talk about experiences from her academic visit to Harvard University. Silvola will cover topics varying from daily life at Harvard to academic freedom under the Trump administration.
Hanna Silvola is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Hanken School of Economics. Her research covers topics such as sustainable investing as well as measuring, reporting and assuring corporate sustainability information for strategic decision-making.
During this session, Silvola will talk about experiences from her academic visit to Harvard University, including daily life at Harvard and implications of the Trump administration on academic freedom as well as Nordic firms and universities. In addition, Silvola will touch upon the topic of ESG and sustainable investing in the USA. The audience will also get the opportunity to ask questions.
