"Finance provides a broad yet concrete and analytical skillset and is generally very international and central to all business activities. Finance is a true people-based industry and hence good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical ability, innovation, but also a focus on positive purpose, are aspects that are critically important in finance, and which may generally be seen as areas of strength for many women. There is evidence that women can bring very important perspectives and value add to the finance industry. Seeing many more women in the industry would be very welcome."
