Many countries in Europe are struggling to achieve higher vaccination coverage in the fight against covid-19. This has raised the question of how more people could be motivated to take the vaccine. A new study, which Hanken School of Economics has been involved in and which was published in the scientific journal Science, shows that a small payment equivalent to 20 euros made more people get vaccinated in Sweden.

Många länder i Europa kämpar med att uppnå en bred vaccinationstäckning i kampen mot covid-19. Det har aktualiserat frågan om hur fler kan motiveras att vaccinera sig. En ny studie, som Hanken Svenska handelshögskolan har varit med om att göra och som publicerats i den vetenskapliga tidskriften Science, visar att en liten betalning motsvarande 20 euro fick fler att vaccinera sig i Sverige.
