Violetta Khoreva

I work as Assistant Professor of Management & Organization at Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki, Finland. I have previously worked at Hanken School of Economics in Vaasa and held longer term visiting researcher positions at National University of Singapore, University of Newcastle, California Lutheran University, and Örebro University.

My research interests lie in the fields of International Management and Strategic Human Resource Management with a specific focus on managing people when implementing Artificial intelligence at workplaces. During 2022-2026, I am involved as a project researcher in a large-scale research project funded by Marcus Wallenberg Foundation on how to integrate artificially intelligent colleagues into workplace ecosystems. Further, I work on issues related to, for example, algorithmic management, digitalization, knowledge hiding, employee wellbeing, talent management in Multinational companies.

My work has been published in several top-level international peer-reviewed journals including Human Resource Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and Career Development International. Currently, I serve as a guest editor for a special issue on ‘Strategic Human Resource in the Era of Algorithmic Management’ at ‘Human Resource Management’ journal.
