Study in Vienna in summer 2023

Hanken School of Economics has been welcomed as a partner of the European University alliance ENGAGE.EU. The alliance consists of leading European universities in business, economics, and the social sciences, which aims to provide European citizens with the set of skills and competences needed to tackle major societal challenges.

Hanken can offer five BSc students the opportunity to participate in the ENGAGE.EU Summer School, which will this year be hosted at WU in Vienna on the topic of “Transformation to sustainability: challenges and solutions”. Students from all ENGAGE.EU partner universities will have the chance to actively participate in this summer program. Additionally, a social program will be offered to foster ENGAGE.EU networking opportunities. WU Vienna has successfully organized interesting and unforgettable summer schools for many years – don’t miss this opportunity to study in Vienna this summer!

Course dates:

  • 7.6.2023 online
  • 17-28.7.2023 on campus in Vienna

The five students selected from Hanken will automatically receive a scholarship of 1400€ to support participation in the course. The course is free of charge, but the student will pay an administrative fee of 100€. Lunch and coffee are included on lecture days as well as a public transportation ticket within Vienna for the whole duration of the summer school. WU Vienna will give suggestions for the accomodation.

Application criteria:

  • completed a minimum of one academic year by the time of participation in the summer school (BSc student)

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their academic records, academic progress, and motivation statement.
