Sino-Finnish Research Days at Fudan University

The Sino-Finnish Research Days took place at Fudan University in Shanghai 24-25 October 2017. The two-day conference is a part of the Finland 100 festivities and was organised by the Finnish member universities of the Nordic Centre Fudan University.

The purpose was to provide a platform in which Chinese and Finnish researchers can exchange information on topics of mutual interest.

The programme included invited speeches by professors from Finland and Fudan, and the Embassy of Finland in Beijing. Professor Gyöngyi Kovacs from Hanken talked about ‘Hot Topics in Finnish Environmental Research’.
"It was a great experience to be a part of these Sino-Finnish Research Days and I hope to be able to work together also in the future, says Gyöngyi Kovàcs.

The conference was capped off with Chinese and Finnish researchers discussing research projects of mutual interest.
