Roger Holm appointed Member of the Board

Hanken School of Economics has appointed Roger Holm, President Marine Solutions & Executive Vice President at Wärtsilä, as a new member of the Board.

We are very pleased to have Roger Holm join the board, says Professor Eva Liljeblom, Chair of the University Council. He has a strong corporate record of accomplishments, including several top positions at Wärtsilä and connects Hanken even closer to the corporate world.

Roger Holm (1972) holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Hanken in Vaasa.

Holm will replace Anna Häggblom on the board. Hanken School of Economics wishes to extend a big thank you to Anna Häggblom for her efforts as member of the Board.

The Board of Hanken School of Economics has ten members of which four represent external stakeholders. The other three external members are Björn Wahlroos (Chairman of the Baord, Sampo, UPM, Nordea), Jannica Fagerholm (managing director, Signe and Ane Gyllenberg Foundation) and Lars Ågren (Senior Executive Vice President, Stockholm School of Economics). The mandate of the current Board expires 31 December 2018.
