Record number of students admitted through the Open University

Hanken has published the admissions results for the integrated BSc and MSc Programme 2017.

In total, 803 applicants took the entrance exam for the Swedish language BSc programme on 6 June 2017. This year Hanken admits in total 250 new students to the BSc programme in Helsinki and Vaasa. Of these 2050, 17 applicants were admitted based on their results in the Finnish Matriculation Examination.

This year the admission through the Open University set a new record - 54 students in total will begin their studies at Hanken in the autumn 2017. These students have successfully completed Open University courses at Hanken during the past year.

Hanken continues to attract Finnish speakers. This year almost 25% of the admitted students have stated Finnish as their native language.

All 250 admitted, 180 to Hanken in Helsinki and 70 to Hanken in Vaasa, are offered their place of study through the national portal studyinfo.fi.
