New Opening Hours for E-exam in Helsinki!

Digital exams in Examinarium is growing more popular - therefore we have new opening hours from 4.12: Mon -Fri 8-23 and Saturdays 8-17 in Helsinki! You need your own Hanken key!

As the number of exams in the examinarium has been rapidly growing the opening hours are from Monday 4.12

  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 – 23:00
  • Saturday 8:00 – 17:00

NOTE that you need a Hanken key to both

  • get in to the Examinarium A410 (with a student key you can get in 5 minutes before the exam starts til 10 minutes after)
  • for the main door, when you do your exam outside Hanken opening hours.

You thus need a key at all times when you do a digital exam in the examinarium.

Open university students and other visiting students still have a possibility to get a code for the doors from the reception. REMEMBER you only get the code during normal Hanken opening hours!

In Vaasa the number of seats will multiple as the examinarium is opening in a new room in January. Vasa opening hours will not be adjusted at this point (Mon-Fri 8-20)

Own key to Hanken for Degree Students in Helsinki

Hanken will give degree students a personal key to the premises in Helsinki. This is both to give better access to the study premises, and to solve the problem with accessing the examinarium when Hanken is closed, however, an important aspect is also to increase the security in the main building, so we know who are/have been in the house.

As before, students get their key from the book store IB. You need an official ID card or your Hanken student card to get the key. You are responsible for your personal key during your studies at Hanken, and are not allowed to give it to anybody else.

Even no deposit is given int the fugure, the key must be returned when your study right ends! The key stops working when you graduate or your study right ends.

The Security Chief reminds all of us that WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO let other people into the house! You are not allowed to LEAVE STONES, GARBAGE... etc. in between the doors to keep them open. Each one of us is responsible for checking that the doors close after when entering or leaving the premises!
