Master’s level studies at Hanken increasingly popular

The application period for master’s level studies at Hanken ended 27 January 2016. The results show that the number of applicants has increased from previous years for both the master’s degree programmes in English and to master’s studies in Swedish.

The number of applicants to Hanken’s master’s degree programmes in English amounted to 836 applications (2015: 338). Hanken offers six programmes in English. This year the programme portfolio included one new programme, General Management in Vaasa, and one new track, Humanitarian Logistics, within the Business and Management. This programme also offers tracks in International Strategy and Sustainability and in Marketing. Other programmes offered are Corporate Governance, Economics, Finance and Accounting, and Intellectual Property Law.

For master’s level studies in Swedish, this year it was possible to apply to all majors offered at Hanken (14 application targets). In total, 197 persons (2015: 172) applied for studies at Hanken. The number of study places is 80. The number of applications to Helsinki was 151 and to Vaasa 26.
