How should we organise to achieve positive social impact?

This question will be explored from different angles at Responsible Organising - A Stakeholder Conference, co-organised by three research institutes, CCR, GODESS and HUMLOG on November 13th, at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.

The program of the conference consists of key note speeches, a panel discussion and workshops. The key note speakers will discuss the theme of the conference from their perspective:

  • Anna Wahl, Professor Gender, Organisation and Management, KTH Royal Institute of Technology
  •  Paul Larson, Ph.D., Professor and Distinguished Senior Fellow, University of Manitoba and Hanken
  • Katri Blomster, Communications Officer, The Trade Union Solidarity Centre of Finland – SASK

In the afternoon, three parallel workshops will take place, which will provide an opportunity to the participants to dive deeper into the theme of the conference and explore ‘’responsible organising’’ in different contexts.

“We want to target people in an intersection of academia and society, and take down the discussion of responsible organising on a concrete level. And of course we want to show that different strands of research can jointly collaborate and create something tangible with some societal impact’’, says Nikodemus Solitander, Director of CCR.

The conference is free of charge and open to any interested stakeholder.
