The position of the Foundation's Ombudsman is a part-time commitment that Mia Bengts handles alongside her role as Executive Advisor at Navigator Partners. Previously, Ms Bengts has worked as a Legal Counsel at Nordea Asset Management and as General Counsel at Aktia Bank.

"We are extremely pleased with Mia's solid knowledge and experience of foundation work and the good references we have received," says Kim Karhu, Chairman of the Board.

"I look forward to working in close cooperation with the Foundation's Board, the staff at Hanken and the Foundation's partners. Being able to contribute to supporting the development of the university feels both meaningful and fun," says Mia Bengts about her new responsibility.

In her private life, the mother of three likes to exercise, travel and cook, and she is also a big fan of culture. Mia was the key person who initiated that the artwork "Tillväxt", from Aktia's collections, was placed in the university.
