Hanken students did well in Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch

Nine Hanken students participated this year in the international exam Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch. This is the highest level of diploma in German for business students available.

In Finland the exam is organised by the Deutsch-Finnische Handelskammer in cooperation with Goethe-Institut. Every year, the German language within Hanken’s language centre offers a preparation course (“Wirtschaftskommunikation”) for the exam. All the students who participated in the preparation course at Hanken passed the exam consisting of both a written and an oral part.
The diploma ceremony was conducted on 1 June 2018 by PhD Mika Joachim Pöpken and Detleff Lingemann, the German Ambassador to Finland.
