Hanken School of Economics renews EQUIS accreditation

The confidence in Hanken’s operations continues, as the business school is awarded renewed EQUIS accreditation for five years.

Hanken School of Economics has been awarded continued EQUIS accreditation until 2027. As a result, Hanken maintains its positions among the 1% of business schools in the world that have been awarded the three most prestigious accreditations. In addition to EQUIS, Hanken is also accredited by AACSB and the Hanken Executive MBA Programme is accredited by AMBA

“This is an endorsement of our commitment to providing the best possible business education at Hanken”, says Rector Ingmar Björkman

“Accreditations drive us towards continuous improvement, and passing the evaluation process indicates that we meet demanding international quality criteria. A big thank you to our faculty and staff, our students, and our partners for their work to make Hanken an even better business school."

Hanken has been EQUIS accredited since 2000 and is one of the two business schools in Finland to have received this accreditation. The accreditation is awarded by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), which has accredited business schools worldwide since the late 1990s. The accreditation is time-bound, which guarantees a continuous quality development.
