Hanken report shows substantial impact on sustainability

According to the latest Sustainability Report 2018-2020, Hanken School of Economics has made a considerable sustainable impact across several areas, and also improved in terms of carbon emissions.

Hanken’s renewed strategy has a clearer focus on integrating sustainability, social responsibility, and Sustainable Development Goals across all its impact areas. 

“Hanken has since 2008 been committed to continuous improvement in implementing sustainability and SDGs. In a study last year, where Hanken was the only Finnish university to be featured, our students rated us as doing well in terms of societal impact. We are on the right path with the new strategy and new Dean for Societal impact and are committed to face the challenges of the future”, says Rector Karen Spens.
