Hanken receives 150 000 euros

Marcus Wallenbergs Stiftelsen donerar 150 000 euro
Bergsrådet Tekn. och Ekon. dr h.c. Marcus Wallenbergs Stiftelse för Företagsekonomisk Forskning has decided to donate 150 000 euros to Hanken. The donation is included in Hanken's ongoing fundraising campaign Count on Hanken.

The foundation's purpose is to promote education and research in the field of business management, primarily in Finland but also in international contexts.

- With this donation, we hope to contribute to strengthening the conditions for entrepreneurship and growth. It is through research and education that Finland can achieve a sustainable and positive economic development, says the foundation's Chairman Paul Ehrnrooth.

- We are very honoured and grateful for the foundation's donation. The donation strengthens Hanken's development as an international triple-accredited business school with high ambitions in education and research, says Rector Karen Spens.

The fundraising campaign Count on Hanken runs until 30.6.2022. The funds raised are used to strengthen Hanken's unique position as Finland's only independent business school.
