Hanken and Kauppalehti Inspiration Award to Helsinki Concierge
The inspiration award is presented to a company that has shown financial growth and innovative thinking and thus can work as an inspirational example for other companies. In honour of Finland's centennial celebration, it was decided to award it to a newly founded company that represents a future talent.
The recipient of the Hanken-Kauppalehti Inspiration Award 2017, Helsinki Concierge, was chosen among the companies that work within the incubator Hanken Business Lab.
Helsinki Concierge offers concierge service to both companies and private consumers. Companies are offered help with everything ranging from travel arrangements to organising events and running errands. Private consumers can choose from a wide variety of services. All services are tailored to meet the need of the customer.
The jury motivated its choice as follows:
”Helsinki Concierge is an inspiring example of a company, which business idea stems from a need to solve and meet real needs and challenges of customers. The services of Helsinki Concierge propose an alternative to traditional do-it-yourself activities. The company boldly enters the uncharted market of luxury services, which is not an obvious choice in turbulent economic times.”
The CEO and founder of Helsinki Concierge, William von der Pahlen is proud and happy:
"It’s an honour to receive this award and it will inspire us to keep developing our business further. We see the award as a confirmation that we are on the right track with our business idea even though only time will tell how our journey ends, says von der Pahlen that accepted the award together with his business partners Niilo Kervinen and Jonathan Grant.
The Hanken-Kauppalehti Inspiration Award is presented yearly at the Hanken Business Forum event. It was presented for the first time last year as it went to the barber chain MRoom.
