Fulbright Distinguished Chairs appointed to Hanken

Within the agreement between Hanken School of Economics and the Fulbright Center, four US scholars will visit Hanken in 2016-2018.

In addition to these four well-reputed US scholars, the holder of the Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communications Technologies will stay at Hanken during the same period of time.

Fulbright-Hanken Distinguished Chairs in Business and Economics

Distinguished Professor James Stock, Opens in new window University of South Florida

Distinguished Professor Stock’s research area is Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility. He will visit Hanken for 6 months divided into two visits during the academic years 2016-2017 and -2017-2018.

Professor Srinivas Talluri Opens in new window , Michigan State University

Professor Talluri’s research area is Supply Chain Management & Social Responsibility. He will visit Hanken for 4 months divided into two visits during academic years 2016-2017 and -2017-2018.

Associate Professor John Broussard Opens in new window , Rutgers, State University of New Jersey
Associate Professor Broussard conducts research within Finance and Accounting. He will work at Hanken for 5 months during the academic year 2016-2017.

Associate Professor Ruby (Pui Wan) Lee Opens in new window , Florida State University

Associate Professor Lee conducts research within marketing and will preliminary visit Hanken for 7 months during the academic year 2016-2017.

Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communications Technologies

Professor Carol Tenopir Opens in new window , University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Professor Tenopir’s area of research is Information Systems and she will work at Hanken for 9 months during 2016-2017.

The agreement between Hanken and the Fulbright Center provides prominent American scholars the opportunity to spend a period at Hanken. During their visit, the scholar will lecture and/or conduct research and contribute in disseminating Hanken’s research and knowledge within the business community and society. 

Fulbright Center is a service organisation that specialises in academic exchange between Finland and North America. The main goal is to support the internationalisation of Finnish universities and research.
