Fazer donates 100 000 euro to Hanken School of Economics

Fazer participates in Hanken’s ongoing fundraising campaign with a donation of 100 000 euro.

Fazer participates in Hanken’s ongoing fundraising campaign with a donation of 100 000 euro. “We are convinced that in order to succeed in the future, Fazer and Finland as a whole will need top professionals in the field of business. Therefore, we make this donation to Hanken”, says Christoph Vitzthum, president and CEO, Fazer Group.

Fazer participated in Hanken's fundraising already in 2010 by donating 100 000 euro. Furthermore, Fazer has been Hanken's corporate Premium Partner for several years. Today's donation will deepen the cooperation even further.

Rector Eva Liljeblom expresses her gratitude for the donation and points out that one of the cornerstones of Hanken’s success is the mutual trust between the business school and its students, alumni and external stakeholders. “We want to continuously develop our operations and research forms the basis for the development. Cooperation with companies offers us a direct link between theory and practice, and that is inspiring”, says Eva Liljeblom.

The fundraising campaign HANKEN RETURNS will continue until 30 June 2017. The aim of the campaign is to strengthen Hanken’s basic capital and secure its position as Finland’s only independent business school.
