Claims concerning study grants handled only by Kela
Hanken no longer handles any claims concerning study grants or other financial aid for students.
The study grant committees at the universities in Finland were founded in 1969, but they all cease to exist by 1 January 2018 at the latest. All claims will be handled directly by Kela after this point. Sara Schultz, who has been engaged in these issues at Hanken, will transfer to Kela from the beginning of next year.
