Changes to the URL-addresses on hanken.fi

On 17 May changes will be made to the way URL-links are constructed on hanken.fi. If you have material that links to the website we recommend that you verify that your links still work after the changes have occurred.

URL-addresses have previously been constructed from the page titles (on the top of each page). From Wednesday onwards they will be constructed from the menu titles. On most pages these two titles are identical and the URLs will not be affected. Only pages where the menu title and page title differ will be affected by the changes.

These changes are made to keep a consistent address structure across our website.

Use permanent links

Permanent links can be used to link to a certain page, regardless of its position in the menu. These links are called node-links. To generate a node-link you right click on the print icon on the top of each page and choose "Copy Link Address". When pasting, replace the "/print/" part of the link with "/node/".

Example:
Page https://www.hanken.fi/en/studies/apply/masters
Print-link https://www.hanken.fi/en/print/305
Node-link https://www.hanken.fi/en/node/305
