past year. The alumnus has also maintained an active relationship with the university after graduation. This year Hanken’s Rector, together with the Alumni Council, has appointed Annika Sucksdorff as Alumnus of the Year.

Annika Sucksdorff is Chairman of the Board of the family enterprise Oy Victor Ek Ab. She was also recently appointed Head of Film Production for the Swedish company SF Studios. She graduated from Hanken in 2003, majoring in entrepreneurship and management. Sucksdorff has since then engaged in Hanken in many ways, at the moment as a so called Hanken Ambassador.

Through her engagement in Hanken’s activities, Annika Sucksdorff is an active link between Hanken and the business community, and serves as a role model for both current students and other alumni.

“I’m very grateful for all the things I’ve learned during my studies at Hanken and for the invaluable network that comes with it. Studying at Hanken can open doors beyond your imagination, and I am a living proof of that. I’m very proud of my alma mater and want to support Hanken also in the future”, says Annika Sucksdorff.

“Annika is a Hanken alumnus with high ambitions and her career is a fine example of the diverse career paths a Hanken degree gives access to. Her commitment to Hanken is strong and we are very grateful for that, says Rector Karen Spens.
