Anne Brunila to promote the creative sector
The Ministry of Education and Culture has appointed Hanken Professor of Practice Anne Brunila as chair of a working group that is going to propose measures to strengthen the creative sector in Finland.
According to Professor Brunila, the creative sector is a substantial part of the Finnish economy, but in contrast to other EU-countries, the sector hasn’t grown but rather declined since 2012.
The aim of the working party is to map the impediments for growth in this sector and to propose how it could be developed in terms of employment and social security.
