An inspiring afternoon on entrepreneurship.

Have you been thinking about starting your own company? What should you think about when you have a good business idea?

In collaboration with Ekonomföreningen Niord, The Finnish Business School Graduates (Finlands Ekonomer) and The Student Union (SHS), Hanken is organizing an inspiring afternoon on entrepreneurship during which you can get these and other questions answered.

During the afternoon, you will hear from these speakers:

  • Markus Wartiovaara, director of Hanken Business Lab, will talk about the Lab and the opportunities it presents to Hanken students interested in starting their own company (IN ENGLISH).  
  • Emil Kylämarkula from Picpilots, based in Hanken Business Lab, will talk about what it’s like to start your own company and what they have learnt during the process. Picpilots produces cost efficient videos for content marketing purposes.(IN SWEDISH)
  • Nina Ingves (Business Trainer, Edite Ab) will talk about entrepreneurship from a practical perspective – what should you do when you have come up with the best business idea in the world? (IN SWEDISH)
  • The Finnish Business School Graduates' (Finlands Ekonomer) lawyer Sofie Siegfrids will tell you about shareholders’ agreements, in other words, what you should think about when there are severeal owners in the company. As an entrepreneur, you are not covered by unemployment insurance and Sofie will talk about important issues regarding this (IN SWEDISH).
  • Slurp, a coffee subscription startup, will talk about what it is like to start your own company as a young entrepreneur (IN ENGLISH).
