Dr Tapani Rinta-Kahila is an Associate Professor of Information Systems Science and Academy Research Fellow at Hanken School of Economics. He obtained his doctoral degree from Aalto University School of Business in 2018. Dr. Rinta-Kahila’s research focuses on issues related to implementing and managing artificial intelligence systems in organizations, the harmful consequences of algorithmic technologies, and the changing nature of work, among other topics. His work has appeared in leading journals, including MIS Quarterly, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Journal of Information Technology, and California Management Review, and his academic achievements have received recognitions such as the Stafford Beer Medal, AIS Senior Scholar Best IS Publication Award, and AIS Early Career Award.
