SHS awarded Anna Wallin as Lecturer of the Year 2024
During the Student Union's Annual Ball on 24 February 2025, Anna Wallin, who teaches oral business communication in Finnish, was awarded the title Lecturer of the Year.
The choice was motivated by the fact that Wallin has not only shared her broad knowledge but also inspired students to find their “inner flame”. She is described as “the best and most motivating teacher ever” and students are very grateful for how much they learnt during her lectures.
Wallin, who also works as a public speaking and presentation skills coach, was very happy and touched to receive such a nice recognition:
“I feel extremely grateful and honored to receive this award. The students are living proof that anyone can learn to speak and present with impact – not to mention enjoy it! Seeing this happen, course after course, never ceases to amaze me. They really managed to surprise me. Thank you so much!”
