Registration for cross-studies within the Vaasa Consortium of Higher Education now open
Cross-studies allow you to complete courses at another Finnish higher education institution when the institutions have agreed on cooperation regarding certain specified courses and student groups.
The Vaasa Higher Education Consortium consists of Hanken, Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK), Novia University of Applied Sciences, Åbo Akademi University, the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki, and the University of Vaasa. Through the network, courses in many different subjects taught at these institutions are offered.
You can find the selection of cross-studies through the search function in Sisu, and you can also register directly in Hanken’s Sisu. Your registration is transferred to the receiving institution through the cross-study service RIPA. Make sure to carefully review the course information and any prerequisite requirements before registering.
Once your registration has been confirmed, you will receive a time-limited study right at the receiving institution to complete the course. You will also receive a user ID for the receiving institution’s network. Remember to activate it and follow any additional instructions for cross-studies provided by the receiving institution.
When you have completed the course, your completion will be transferred automatically to Hanken’s Sisu, so you do not need to apply for credit transfer.
You can find more information about registering for cross-studies on our cross-studies webpage.
