New Hanken research project: Causal effects of personal relative income information

A research group led by Hanken Professor Topi Miettinen will kick-off a new five year research project in the autumn 2020.

The Academy of Finland has awarded a grant of 480 000 Euro to the investigation of the causal effects of personal relative income information on various attitudinal, belief and labour market outcomes using representative survey, decision-making experiment and register data.

The generous Academy Project Funding will support the project from September 2020 to August 2024. In addition to Miettinen, the research team consists of Professor Michael Kirchler (Co-Principal investigator, University of Innsbruck), Professor Kaisa Kotakorpi (Co-Principal investigator, Tampere University), Professor Peter Hans Matthews (Co-Principal investigator, Middlebury College USA), and Xiaogeng Xu (Post-doctoral researcher, Hanken School of Economics).

The research team is very excited about this funding opportunity.
