New Exchange Agreements in Bulgaria, France, Portugal and the UK

Hanken has signed new student exchange agreements with ISEG Lisbon School of Economics and Management at Universidade de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal, NEOMA Business School in Reims and Rouen, France, University of National and World Economy UNWE in Sofia, Bulgaria and University of Surrey in Guildford in the UK. You can apply for exchange at the new partner universities from mid-December to 2 February 2026.

ISEG Lisbon School of Economics and Management (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA)

ISEG is founded in 1911 and belongs to Universidade de Lisboa. Around 50 000 students are studying at ULisboa and approx. 7000 of them study at ISEG. Both ISEG and ULisboa have many international students.

  • Location: Lisbon
  • Level: BSc and MSc
  • Language: English
  • Courses: 30 credits per semester (course offering).
  • Slots: 1 student in the autumn semester, 2 students in the spring semester
  • Semesters: Autumn semester runs from 1 September–10 January (exams), Spring semester runs from 23 January–beginning of June (exams)
  • Accommodation: ISEG does not offer student accommodation, hence, students must find private accommodation. Finding accommodation in Lisbon can be tough due to tourism, but the International Mobility Office provides support (more about accommodation)

NEOMA Business School (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA)

NEOMA is founded in 2013 and is a merger of two business schools in Reims and Rouen. You can choose to study either in Reims or in Rouen. In addition to courses in Business you can also choose French language courses.

  • Language: English
  • Courses: 30 credits per semester (course offering). You can also choose French language courses.
  • Slots: 1 student in the autumn semester, 1 student in the spring semester
  • Semesters: Autumn semester runs from early September–December, Spring semester runs from early January–early May
  • Accommodation: NEOMA offers student accommodation through CROUS, a public student residence provider. NEOMA also gives advice should you prefer to apply for private accommodation (more about accommodation)

University of National and World Economy UNWE 

UNWE was established in 1920 and is the largest and oldest university in Bulgaria. UNWE’s vision is to be a leading university in Bulgaria and southeast Europe educating students and conducting research in the field of economics, management and administration. UNWE is one of the universities in the European university alliance ENGAGE.EU.

University of Surrey, Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences (FABSS) 

University of Surrey is located in southeast England in Guildford approx. 34 minutes by train from London. The university is ranked 19th in the UK (Complete University Guide 2026).

  • Language: English
  • Courses: 60 credits per semester = 30 ECTS per semester (4 x 7.5 ECTS) (course offering)
