Hanken's popularity remains high
The bachelor’s programmes in both Helsinki and Vaasa also attract a stable level of applicants and received a total of 2,753 applications (2025: 2,853, 2024: 2,488). The bachelor’s programme offers 250 study places in this admissions round, while the master’s programme offers 96 places.
“Hanken continues to be an attractive option for young people seeking a versatile education with strong employment prospects. For many, it is also important that the school is internationally recognised, performs well in global rankings, and maintains close connections to the business community,” says Mika Gabrielsson, dean of education.
Interest in studying business in Swedish in Finland remains high, and the application process for applicants with an educational background from Sweden is open until 15 April 2026.
