Hanken alumni who graduated in 2024 have the lowest unemployment rate in Finland

New statistics on the employment situation in Finland one year after graduation show that alumni who graduated from Hanken in 2024 are doing well. Despite a challenging economic situation in Finland, Hanken graduates continue to find their place in the labour market.

The position of international alumni has also strengthened. Their employment rate has risen to 71 percent, which is the second highest in Finland. Below the numbers of the employment of Hanken's international alumni the last five years.

At the same time, the statistics show that 13,7 percent of our alumni have emigrated after graduation, the majority of whom are domestic students. 

The fact that many alumni establish themselves internationally contributes positively to scoring in global rankings, such as the Financial Times. However, these alumni are not counted at all as employed in the national funding model that determines the size of Hanken’s government funding.
