Art exhibition I Was Born a Girl extended until end of November
The exhibition features portraits of women who have broken barriers and driven global change, representing a wide range of cultures and advocating for human rights. I Was Born a Girl is an international project that raises awareness of women’s rights and gender equality through art and poetry. Each artwork is paired with a poem written by Pietarinen.
The opening piece of the exhibition, portrait of Malala Yousafzai representing the right to education, is located at the reception of Hanken main building. Rest of the exhibition, including one original artwork of Olena Zelenska representing the right to peace and security, can be viewed on the second floor.
