Alumni survey: Hanken alumni proud of their alma mater

A new survey shows that almost all alumni have a positive attitude towards Hanken and are proud to be connected to the School.

“We are very pleased with this result. Hanken alumni are extremely important to us, so we want them to feel proud of Hanken. The findings also show that alumni feel that Hanken genuinely cares about them, which means a great deal to us. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all alumni who took the time to respond to the survey,” says Mira Aarnivuo, alumni relations and fundraising manager at Hanken.

Most alumni who engage with Hanken do so by attending events, donating to the university, or serving as mentors through Hanken’s mentorship programme.

Many alumni are interested in lifelong learning at Hanken and would gladly take part in courses arranged by Hanken & SSE Executive Education, seminars or courses at one of Hanken’s competence centres, or Hanken courses offered through the Open University.

“Lifelong learning is a cornerstone at Hanken, also supported by Hanken & SSE Executive Education, which provides leadership programmes and more. In November, Hanken also joined the Opin.fi platform, which means that Hanken’s open studies are now available alongside courses from more than 30 other universities,” adds Aarnivuo.

The alumni survey is conducted every three years to measure how alumni feel about Hanken, and also to get feedback about Hanken's alumni activities. This year, 483 alumni responded to the questionnaire.
